Innspire - a combination of innovation and inspire. A project that required every skill from Quaint.

From understanding an unknown topic, coming up with a visual concept, creating an interesting narrative, writing a condensed script, drawing a storyboard, designing sympathetic characters, animating in 2D and 3D, combining everything in post-production and finally orchestrating voice-over, music and sound design with our partners.

Character developpement - In search for sympathy

How do people working in finance look like? What are their most common traits? Which clothes are they wearing? Do they have certain characteristics we need to be aware of?

2D character animationWe acted-out the movements ourselves to achieve realistic character behavior. It wasn’t easy but a lot of fun. Acting is an intense job.

We used the software Toon Boom Harmony to create our frame by frame animations. This opened up a lot of possibilities for instance to create facial expression for lip-sinc or simple eye blinks.

Combination with 3D All those small and big spheres you see in our animation are in fact made in 3 dimentional space. This allowed us perspective effects and easy organic animation.
